One thing we learned travelling in Italy is how much the dishes there differ from the ones we have traditionally taken for Italian here in North America. Gone are the heavy sauses drenching everything, and enter simple ingredients, many of them fresh toppings that make the european culinary adventures more interesting. Pulcinella's bright, contemporary setting, friendly service, fresh ingredients and wood-fired ovens lined with stone from Mount Vesuvius make it a perfect setting for their Napoletana pizza, and a host of other dishes.
