As the name implies, this started as a small coffee house just outside of the downtown area, but has grown over the years to a spot frequented by Foothills Hospital staff, residents of the area and many downtown drones wanting to escape the usual eateries in that area. It has become known as a place of sandwiches—hot and cold, soups, salads, smoothies, milkshakes, and daily specials of all kinds. Unfortunately for this review, we had been told that the wor won ton soup was the best in Calgary, so we all tried it. It wasn't. But we have promised ourselves to return and try some of the other goodies and maybe up the rating a bit. Good vegetarian selection.
