One of the great food mysteries that has haunted me for a lifetime is why restaurants cannot produce really great burgers that truly taste like the really great burgers we make at home. I still don't have the answer, but I do have the burger from Five Guys. The restaurant is large and loud—large enough to hold the crowds, but not too loud for conversation. And the menu is small and easy to decipher, unlike so many of the 43 hamburgers and 67 combo combinations that leave us confused at so many other establishments. The food is freshly prepared as you order and served with the condiments you want. But before ordering, be sure to look at the size of the chip cups. They are big! Good vegetarian selection.
