For LeVilla we have created a new subcategory "General Gourmet". Usually under the "General" listing we have restaurants that serve items ranging from burgers to steaks and nachos to baked potato, but at LeVilla the menu tends toward the upper end with steaks and chops and racks of lamb, and they are done well, but simply. There are none of the ventures into the unknown—like oxblood mayonnaise or truffles in cream sauce—flights of imagination that set apart the gourmet chefs of the city. This means there are few surprises and really no dish that cries out, "You can't find me anywhere else.". But what you can expect are tasty, basic fine dishes, well served at a good price. This is particularly true if you choose the monthly special. So as a "good bang for the buck" restaurant with a rustic setting and friendly service, this just might be the place you want to visit for that fine, but not budget-breaking meal.
