It takes a bit of courage to open a diner across from a well–established eatery like the Belmont in Marda Loop. But in this case, the pluckiness paid off. The Loop is a winner. As most diners have similar menus, we have devised a scale which measures fat content, salt content and the quality of the produce used. Then we throw in decor and friendliness just to round things off. On all fronts, the Loop did well. Good vegetarian selection.
The "Big Al" provides the breakfast challenge. And here is the secret to getting through it: Don't ask for white bread as it is thicker and can prove to be the game–breaker between cleaning your plate and ending up with egg on your face.
