This tiny building on 14 Street SW just south of 17 Avenue Southwest can be easily missed, and has, with moderate success, housed a number of forgettable businesses over the past many years. Now success! The small space is crowded with patrons patiently awaiting their delicious chicken with all the trimmings. Even the fried variety comes out with very little grease. The side dishes, from handmade buttermilk biscuits to rotisserie potatoes are well–prepared and large. And then you can come back a second time for the milkshakes and salads. Parking is limited on site, and there is a short wait for fresh product, so come prepared to join the crowds and enjoy the food.
Addendum: Some of you with good memories my recall that this restaurant was, at one point, listed as a “9”. “Why the change?" you may ask. Basically, because we demand consistency, and I am afraid that we have noted a fluctuation in the quality of the chicken, perhaps due to supply issues, so we dropped the rating just a pinch in response to this situation.
